How To Prepare A ConnectWise To HubSpot Historical Sync

A historical sync allows the integration to bring over existing records from ConnectWise into HubSpot or reprocess records when needed. Preparing properly ensures your data is accurate and your sync runs smoothly.

Empty HubSpot Portal

If your HubSpot portal is brand new and doesn’t contain any records, nothing to worry about. Records from ConnectWise will sync into HubSpot automatically.

Existing HubSpot Data

If your HubSpot portal already contains companies or contacts, we will provide a spreadsheet that lists all your existing ConnectWise companies and the HubSpot records we believe correspond to them. If you need a ConnectWise company associated with a different HubSpot record than the one identified, populate the ConnectWise Record ID on the correct HubSpot company. The integration will handle the rest.

Running a Historical Sync for New Mappings

If you add new field mappings after your initial setup and need to backfill them, contact the SyncSmart Support team to coordinate a date and time for the historical sync.
