How to disable HubSpot to NetSuite sync for Default Billing and Shipping Addresses

If you need to stop syncing Default Billing Address and Default Shipping Address changes from HubSpot to NetSuite while maintaining the NetSuite to HubSpot sync, you can configure this using one-way sync settings in SyncSmart.

Steps to Configure One-Way Address Sync

To disable HubSpot → NetSuite syncing for address fields while keeping NetSuite → HubSpot sync active:

  1. Open the field mapping in the SyncSmart UI

  2. Locate each Default Billing and Default Shipping address field (such as Address Line 1, City, State, Zip, Country, etc.)

  3. Change the sync direction to NetSuite → HubSpot (one-way)

  4. Save the mapping for each field

Important Considerations

Each field must be updated individually: Because addresses consist of multiple individual fields, there is no global toggle for addresses. You must set each related address field mapping consistently to one-way sync.

Fields to update include:

  • Address Line 1

  • Address Line 2

  • City

  • State/Province

  • Zip/Postal Code

  • Country

  • Any other address-related fields

Result

Once these changes are saved:

  • ✅ NetSuite will continue to send address updates to HubSpot

  • 🚫 HubSpot updates will no longer overwrite address data in NetSuite

This configuration ensures that your NetSuite address data remains the authoritative source while still allowing HubSpot to receive address updates from NetSuite.
