This setup guide will walk you through the steps to create your Wix App account and connect your Wix and HubSpot portals. Once setup the app will automatically add the HubSpot tracking code to all of your Wix site pages, sync Wix from submissions to contact timelines in HubSpot, and sync contacts in real time from Wix to HubSpot.
Step 1: Install the App from the HubSpot Marketplace
In your HubSpot account, click the Marketplace icon in the main navigation bar, then select App Marketplace.
Search for the Wix integration, and select Wix App in the results. In the top right, click Connect app.
You'll be redirected to the registration page.
Step 2: Create your Account
Before you can connect your Wix sites and your HubSpot portal, you first need to create an account with SyncSmart.io, the provider of the Wix+HubSpot Integration App.
Step 3: Connect Wix and HubSpot accounts
Once you complete the registration if you are not currently logged into your Wix account, you will be prompted to login.
Once you are logged into Wix, you will be prompted to choose a Wix site to add to the integration. Click the blue Select button
You will be prompted to review the requested Wix permissions, review the permissions and click Allow and add.
- You will then be prompted to select the HubSpot Portal you would like to connect. Don't skip this step! Your integration will not work until you select a HubSpot portal.
- You will be prompted to review the requested HubSpot permissions, review and click Grant Access.
- You are all done! You will be redirected to the Confirmation page.
Now your HubSpot tracking code has been added to all of the pages of the Wix sites you selected. Any Wix form submissions will sync to HubSpot as timeline events. Any contact that is created or updated in Wix will sync to HubSpot.
